We're Here!!

I'm checking in actually Thursday morning before everyone wakes up. The travel day went great!  Everything went smoothly and the youth were awesome. You can be very proud of your son or daughter. The flight attendants commented on what a great group and polite kids we have. Buses were waiting for us at the airport.  (And Pastor Scott, our bus driver said she grew up at Gloria Dei :) ). We were greeted at the church by our welcome crew and settled in.. We took a picture walkng to McDonalds for supper at 10:30 pm. Crazy!!!!! It was so light out!! Excited for our adventure to IMAGINE NO BOUNDARIES!  Alaska is God given beauty for sure.

(On a prayer request note....Alan was going to be the one to greet us. When calling him we discovered the weather you all had last night. He is originally from Wessington Springs SD.  A tornado went through the town. He was going to SD this week to clear out his mothers house because she recently past away.  Please pray for him, his family, and the community of Wessington Springs.  The tornado hit hard. Now there is a different "going through the house" they will have to deal with. We see the breath taking beauty of the mountains here.  We are reminded of the intensity of God's creation in storms.  But we are reminded of what a small world we really have and our calling to pray for one another.)
